📖 “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” — Revelation 3:10
As the second coming of Christ nears, Satan will unleash his most dangerous lie. Disguised as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, he will personate Christ Himself, speaking gentle words, healing diseases, and even proclaiming that the Sabbath has been changed to Sunday. The world, longing for a savior, will fall down in worship and shout, “Christ has come!” Yet it will be the great deceiver — not the true Son of God.
This is the crowning act of Satan’s deception, designed to ensnare the world in a final, nearly overwhelming delusion. Every sense will be moved, every heart stirred, but the teachings of this false Christ will not align with Scripture. His counterfeit blessings and counterfeit gospel will expose him to those who know and cling to the Word of God.
God’s people will not be misled. They will test every word and every appearance by the Bible, remembering that Christ’s true return will be seen by all the world at once, coming in the clouds of heaven with power and glory. The final deception is strong, but God’s promises are stronger: He will keep His faithful through the hour of temptation.
