Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 22nd

📖 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 The coming time of trouble will be unlike anything God’s people have ever faced. Surrounded by enemies determined to silence their witness, the anguish of the faithful will not be fear of persecution or death, but the piercing question: Have I fully repented? Have I surrendered everything to Christ? Their greatest concern is that their own defects of character might dishonor the name of God.

Yet in this crucible, the saints cling to the promises of Scripture. They wrestle with God as Jacob did, refusing to let go until He blesses them. Their cries are not for escape but for assurance of pardon, that they may glorify God even in the darkest hour. And though the tide of rebellion seems overwhelming, they continue in prayer, knowing that the Lord has promised to keep them from the hour of temptation.

This time of trial is not meant to break God’s people, but to refine them. In the fire of affliction, selfishness is purged away and faith is made unshakable. Satan may accuse, enemies may threaten, but Christ stands as their refuge and strength. The time of trouble will reveal to the universe that God can transform human weakness into Christlike character — and that His people, though pressed to the limit, will overcome by His power.
