Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 20th

📖 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.” — Amos 8:11, 12

When mercy’s voice finally falls silent, the wicked will face what they refused to believe: God’s judgments have come, and it is too late to turn back. They will search desperately for the Word of the Lord, but the famine of truth will leave them with nothing but despair. In their agony, families will accuse one another, and congregations will turn on their ministers, crying out that they were never warned. Yet no human blame can undo years of rejected truth.

The plagues will reveal the full horror of sin. Suffering without hope, the wicked will experience the darkness of separation from God — the same anguish Christ bore on the cross for all humanity. Their hatred toward those who stood faithful will boil over, yet they cannot touch God’s sealed people. Ministers who once soothed with “peace, peace” will suffer even more bitterly, realizing too late the cost of their silence.

But for the faithful, this time of wrath holds no terror. While the wicked are consumed with despair, the righteous will be hidden in the secret place of the Most High, safe under God’s pavilion. The contrast will be stark: eternal loss for the rebellious, eternal shelter for the faithful. Now is the time to decide on which side you’ll stand when mercy’s door finally closes.
