📖 “And he had power to ... cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” — Revelation 13:15
The Bible warns of a time when the restraining Spirit of God will be withdrawn, and Satan will influence rulers and people to enforce laws against those who remain faithful to God’s commandments. As the final plagues fall, the wicked will blame the righteous, believing that eliminating God’s people will stop the judgments. A decree will be issued that those who refuse to worship the beast and give up the Sabbath may be put to death.
Yet even in this fearful time—known as the time of Jacob’s trouble—God’s people are not left defenseless. Angels mighty in strength will surround them. Some swords raised against the faithful will fall powerless like straw, while others will be protected by angels appearing as men of war. The same God who shielded Israel in Egypt will protect His people when the final death decree is issued.
This message reminds us: now is the time to anchor ourselves in Christ. A decree may be written on earth, but heaven has already declared victory for those who remain faithful. Will you stand firm when the test comes?
