Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 14th
📖 “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” (Daniel 12:1)
The moment is coming when Christ will finish His intercession and declare, “It is done.” At that time, mercy will no longer plead for the guilty. The righteous, sealed with the seal of the living God, will stand ready for the final test, having received the latter rain and the refreshing from God’s Spirit. But for the wicked, the world will descend into a darkness more fearful than anything since the beginning of time. Satan will have full control of those who have persistently resisted God’s grace, and the fierce winds of strife will be let loose upon the earth.
Without Christ as intercessor, the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God. They will be surrounded by chaos as nations rage and every element of destruction is unleashed, yet they will be sheltered under heaven’s protection. But for the finally impenitent, there will be no refuge. Unsheltered, they will be swept into Satan’s final storm of ruin, more terrible than even the fall of Jerusalem. The world will see what happens when mercy is forever withdrawn.
Now is the time of preparation. The angels still hold back the winds of strife, giving us a little longer to purify our hearts and make our calling and election sure. Soon Michael will stand up, probation will close, and the great time of trouble will burst upon the earth. Only those who walk with clean hands and pure hearts will be found standing. The time is short — are you ready to stand without an intercessor when the storm breaks?
