Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 13th

📖 “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1–2)

Life will go on as usual when heaven declares the final, irrevocable verdict. Men and women will be eating, drinking, building, and marrying, unaware that probation has closed and their destinies are sealed. Just as in Noah’s day — when the ark’s door shut and seven days of apparent peace followed before the flood — so in the last days the world will continue in careless pleasure, mocking God’s warnings until mercy’s voice falls silent forever.

The great deception is a false sense of security. People are lulled into thinking all is well, but suddenly the plagues will fall. Those who have despised God’s Word will wander in vain, searching for a message of hope they once ignored. By then, God’s messengers will have prayed their last prayer, shed their last tear, and spoken their last appeal. The harvest will be finished, and it will be too late to change sides.

But today — right now — the door of mercy remains open. Christ still pleads, His Spirit still convicts, and His Word still offers peace. The question is urgent: will we recognize “the things which belong unto our peace” before they are forever hidden from our eyes? The sun of probation is sinking fast toward the horizon. Now is the time to choose Christ, while mercy still lingers.
