Maranatha - The lord is coming: October 3rd
📖 “Hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble?” (Job 38:22–23)
Ellen White recounted a terrifying storm in Australia, where hailstones fell as large as hens’ eggs and the gale ripped hats, cushions, and umbrellas into the fields. Horses panicked, the wind howled, and hearts turned heavenward for help. But as fierce as that storm was, it was only a faint reminder of what God’s Word describes as the seventh plague.
The Bible warns that hailstones “about the weight of a talent” will one day fall upon the wicked when the last vial of God’s wrath is poured out (Revelation 16:21). Cities will crumble, darkness will cover the sky, and the Lord’s mighty voice will commission angels to carry out His final judgments. The storm Ellen White endured was just a glimpse of that fearful day when the treasures of God’s hail will be unleashed.
But even in this sobering reality, God’s people can rest in His protection. Just as He was near to calm terror-stricken hearts in that carriage, He will be with His faithful through earth’s last storms. The question is: when the plagues fall, will you be safe under His sheltering hand?
