Maranatha - The lord is coming: October 25th
📖 “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void… and there was no man.” — Jeremiah 4:23–25
When Christ returns in power and glory, His glory will consume all wickedness from the face of the earth. ⚡ The proud cities, the mighty towers, and every trace of human rebellion will crumble before His presence. The voice that called creation into being will now bring judgment upon it — and what remains is a silent, desolate planet. The mountains tremble, the oceans heave, and the once-living world lies in ruins. Earth becomes a dark, forsaken wasteland — the abyss described by the prophets, awaiting its renewal.
Meanwhile, the redeemed are carried with Christ to the City of God — safe beyond the desolation. The universe watches as prophecy reaches its chilling fulfillment: “The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled.” All life that has rejected the Savior perishes, and the earth rests beneath the weight of divine justice. It is the solemn Sabbath of the planet, as sin lies exposed and still.
Now the final act in heaven’s plan unfolds. The sins of God’s people — cleansed from the heavenly sanctuary — are symbolically placed upon Satan, the scapegoat, who stands guilty for the ruin of the world. The once-deceiver now bears the full responsibility of rebellion. The work of atonement is complete. The stage is set for creation’s ultimate restoration — when the Prince of Peace will make all things new. 🌤️
