Maranatha - The lord is coming: October 18th
📖 “Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” (Isaiah 26:19)
The King of kings descends through blazing clouds of glory — His voice thunders like many waters and rolls across the earth like a victory cry. The heavens part, the ground shakes, and the voice of the Son of God pierces the tombs: “Awake, awake, awake, ye that sleep in the dust, and arise!” And suddenly, graves burst open. Across the earth, from every land and language, the righteous rise — shining, immortal, and free.
The redeemed stand clothed in perfect beauty, untouched by age, pain, or sin. Mothers embrace their resurrected infants, friends long divided by death are reunited in joy, and all lift their voices in the shout that echoes through eternity: “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” The living righteous, changed “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,” join this mighty army, rising together to meet their Savior in the air.
What a scene! Angels fill the skies, gathering the redeemed from the four winds. Laughter and songs of triumph replace the cries of sorrow. Death is no more. The King of glory leads His people home — victorious, radiant, and eternal. And forever after, the song of the saved will ring through heaven’s halls: “Worthy, worthy is the Lamb!”
