Maranatha - The lord is coming: November 14th
When John was taken into the heavenly throne room, he saw something breathtaking — a rainbow shining around God’s throne, like emerald light wrapped in eternal promise (Revelation 4:2–3). That bow isn’t just decoration… it’s a permanent reminder of God’s unfailing love demonstrated through Jesus Christ. 🌈❤️
Just as a rainbow is made when sunlight shines through falling rain, the rainbow around the throne represents mercy and justice working together. God’s government is stable because neither mercy nor justice is missing. Justice guards the holiness of heaven. Mercy opens the gates of the city to every obedient, surrendered heart. One without the other would either crush hope or destroy order — but together they reveal the character of a God who saves, restores, and reigns with righteousness and compassion.
Heaven isn’t a magical personality-changer; the character we allow Christ to shape in us now is the character we’ll take into eternity. That’s why the gospel doesn’t weaken the law — it destroys the power of sin and makes obedience possible. And through every struggle, battle, and moment of growth, God never forgets His people. Mercy beckons, justice affirms, and Jesus stands ready to complete the work in every willing heart.
