Maranatha - The lord is coming: May 27th

In a world full of spiritual noise, Jesus gave a warning that still echoes today: “Beware of false prophets.” (Matthew 7:15) They come dressed in truth, but their message leads to confusion, fanaticism, and false hope. That’s why today’s devotional strikes deep: it’s not enough to be sincere—we must test everything by the Word of God.

Ellen White recounts decades of facing false movements, prophetic pretenders, and dangerous teachings—some even packaged with dreams and visions. And though parts of their messages came true, their core claims were dead wrong. Why? Because truth isn’t judged by partial accuracy—it’s measured by full alignment with Scripture.

In these last days, feelings and charisma won’t save us. Only the Bible holds the standard. If we want to avoid deception, we must do what Scripture commands: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (1 Thess. 5:21) God has never failed to guide those who ask, study, and test by His Word. Are you listening carefully? Or just accepting what sounds good?
