Maranatha - The lord is coming: June 21st
Jesus warned His followers in Matthew 24 that when they saw the "abomination of desolation" standing in the holy place, it was time to flee. In like manner, God’s people today are called to heed the signs of our time and prepare to leave the large cities. The coming enforcement of the false Sabbath is the modern-day signal for God’s faithful to seek refuge—first from the cities, then into quieter, rural places where they can live in harmony with God’s law and nature.
Ellen White warned that labor unions, increasing violence, and spiritual darkness would make city living a dangerous trap. Those seeking to serve God and raise their families in peace will soon find the cities not only inhospitable but spiritually toxic and physically unsafe. The time to prepare is not later—it’s now. God's call is clear: move into the country while doors are still open.
The day will come when fleeing won’t be possible. Will we be ready? The Lord has been gracious to give us the warnings in advance. Let us respond by acting in faith and courage, preparing a haven where His light can still shine through us even amid the storm.
