Maranatha - The lord is coming: June 18th
God is calling His people to walk wisely and faithfully in a world that’s increasingly hostile to truth. While Sunday observance is not yet the final test, the day is fast approaching when loyalty to God’s law will come into direct conflict with earthly powers. In this delicate time, we’re encouraged to be winsome witnesses—careful, compassionate, and strategic in how we present the truth. Rather than stirring unnecessary conflict, Sabbathkeepers are to uplift Christ, teach the immutability of God’s law, and prepare hearts for what’s to come.
Ellen White reminds us that now is the time to share the gospel gently yet boldly. If refraining from Sunday labor advances God’s work, we should use that opportunity to educate others in the Scriptures and show Christ’s love. It’s not compromise—it’s mission-minded obedience. But when obedience to God’s commandments is finally outlawed and Sabbath observance is tested under pressure, God’s remnant must stand firm, even when persecution threatens freedom and life itself.
The final conflict will not begin with force, but with subtle deception. Sabbathkeepers must walk in the Spirit, speak in love, and discern the times. Let us prepare now—not only with truth in our minds, but with humility in our hearts. Are you ready to stand when the test comes? Are you using today’s freedom to build faith for tomorrow’s fire?
