Hey family! Today’s devotional is a wake-up call: real godliness will bring real opposition. Jesus warned that “all who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). If our flawless Savior was hated and condemned without cause, how much more should we expect hatred when we faithfully follow Him?
Human laws will rise against God’s law, and councils will judge by manmade standards, not divine truth. Those loyal to God’s commandments will face arrest, trial, and injustice. Yet like evergreens standing unshaken in winter’s storm, true Christians will remain steadfast when the chilling winds of persecution blow. Hypocrites will fall away, but God’s faithful will grow stronger, shining brighter for His glory.
Are you prepared to stand firm when obedience to God means rejection by the world? Now is the time to anchor your heart in Christ, so when opposition comes, you won’t waver but will stand immovable, faithful, and fearless for your Savior. 🙏
