“My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” — John 5:17

Heaven is a place of joyful, meaningful activity—not endless idleness. For those who have fought the good fight of faith, eternity will bring perfect rest from sin and suffering, yet not from purposeful, satisfying work. To the energetic, heaven would not be heaven if it offered nothing to do. God designed us for meaningful labor—work that strengthens, uplifts, and fills the soul with joy. ✨

From the beginning, Adam and Eve were given the privilege of tending Eden. Their work was not burdensome but invigorating—part of the joy of holy living. Labor was never meant to be a curse; it was a gift to develop the mind, body, and character. True happiness has always been found in purposeful activity, not in idleness or ease. 💪🌿

Heaven reflects this same principle. God works. Christ works. Angels work. The redeemed will join in this joyful activity, serving with love, creativity, and energy. No idle hands, no empty hours—just the deep satisfaction of working with God. And when our earthly labors are finished, it is the faithful worker whom Christ welcomes into the joy of His kingdom. 🕊️👑
