Maranatha - The lord is coming: August 18th
God has made it plain — the seventh day is His chosen day, a sign between Him and His people, marking loyalty to His kingdom. It’s not up for human debate or reshaping by priest, ruler, or convenience. This day, nestled in the heart of the Ten Commandments, carries the weight of divine authority and reminds us of His creative and redemptive power.
Yet, many substitute a man-made day for the Sabbath of the Lord, exalting the spurious above the genuine. Scripture warns that such worship, though clothed in the name of Christ, is empty when it rejects the very law He wrote with His own finger. True sanctification — the holiness that comes from God — is given only to those who obey His commands in full, including the Sabbath. Anything less is a counterfeit.
The religious world may dress up a common day in holy clothes, but without a “Thus saith the Lord,” it has no sanctity. In the final test of loyalty, those who cling to God’s Sabbath will stand as living witnesses of His authority. The question is — will you follow the command of God or the tradition of men?
