Maranatha - The lord is coming: August 14th

"Let all things be done decently and in order." – 1 Corinthians 14:40

What if some of the loudest “revivals” in these last days were actually distractions? Today’s devotional issues a serious warning: right before the close of probation, Satan will work to counterfeit the Holy Spirit through chaotic worship. Shouting, drums, music, and dancing will overwhelm the senses, creating confusion instead of conviction. These sensory storms—often claimed to be “Spirit-filled”—are designed to drown out the still, small voice of God.

The true Holy Spirit doesn’t manifest as noise and confusion. That’s not how God works. These spectacles mislead sincere believers, leaving them emotionally stirred but spiritually adrift. History warns us that such fanaticism isn't new. After 1844, similar outbreaks of chaos, false doctrine, and even shocking behaviors paraded as divine encounters. Satan used these moments to twist truth, mock sacred worship, and dishonor God.

We are called to be sober and vigilant in these final moments of Earth’s history. God’s Spirit brings order, reverence, and clarity—not confusion. As deception intensifies, let’s anchor ourselves in the Word and worship in Spirit and truth. Don’t fall for emotional highs that forsake holy ground. Be on guard, stay connected to Christ, and walk in the light of His truth—no matter how loud the crowd gets.
