There’s a dangerous teaching sweeping through the religious world—a feel-good faith that promises instant holiness without obedience. Just “believe,” they say. No need for striving, surrender, or self-denial. But the Bible calls that kind of “sanctification” a lie. Today’s devotional exposes the counterfeit, revealing the true path to holiness—one that honors the commandments and walks in step with Christ’s character.
Genuine sanctification isn’t passive—it’s transformational. It’s faith and obedience. The Word of God makes it clear: faith without works is dead. Any teaching that claims you can be holy while deliberately disobeying God’s law is not from heaven. It’s presumption wrapped in spiritual-sounding language, and it separates the soul from God.
