Maranatha - The lord is coming: November 16th
There stands a mighty scene before the throne of God — the crystal sea, blazing with the glory of Heaven. Upon it gathers a victorious company unlike any other: those who have “gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name.” These are the 144,000, redeemed from among men, standing with the Lamb upon Mount Zion, holding the harps of God. Their voices rise like thunder and rushing waters as they sing a new song — a song no other group can learn, because it belongs to their unique experience of deliverance, faithfulness, and triumph.
The Bible tells us these are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes — the firstfruits unto God and the Lamb. They come out of a tribulation like no other in earth’s history. They endure Jacob’s time of trouble. They stand without an intercessor during the final outpouring of God’s judgments — yet they are preserved, washed in the blood of the Lamb, and found without fault before God. What a stunning picture of faith fully surrendered and divinely sustained!
These faithful ones have seen famine, pestilence, scorching heat, and global suffering, but they now stand in a place where “they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more.” Christ Himself becomes their shelter, their joy, and their eternal reward. Their journey was marked by hardship, but their victory is marked by glory — a testimony to the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.
