📖 “Jesus... for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.” — Hebrews 12:2
When Jesus faced the cross, He wasn’t looking at the pain — He was looking beyond it. 💔 He saw you. He saw the redeemed, restored, and radiant faces of those who would one day live forever because of His sacrifice. That vision filled His soul with unspeakable gladness.
Christ endured shame, agony, and the crushing weight of the world’s sin — but His joy was knowing that through His suffering, humanity could be lifted from the dust and reshaped into the image of God. 🙏 Every scar He bore was a promise kept — a promise of your redemption and everlasting life.
And here’s the incredible truth: that same joy is yours now. 🌈 You don’t have to wait for eternity to share in the gladness of your Savior. Even in trials, you can experience His peace, His strength, and His radiant joy — because heaven begins wherever Jesus reigns in the heart.
So hold your head high. The cross leads to the crown. The sorrow gives way to singing. And soon, you’ll see His face and know Him as your Father — forever. ✨
