Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 30th
📖 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” (Daniel 12:2)
At midnight, while the world mocked, God’s voice thundered like many waters, shaking heaven and earth. A mighty earthquake split open the graves, and those who had died faithfully under the third angel’s message arose, glorified, to hear God’s covenant of peace. The long-awaited promise of the resurrection was fulfilled — death could not hold God’s faithful children.
This hope is not distant or abstract. It is personal. Jesus Himself has tasted death and overcome it. He knows our grief, our tears, and our loss. When loved ones are laid to rest, He draws near to give peace and strength. Just as He comforted those who mourned in faith, He walks beside us today with the same power and love.
But the resurrection is not just about comfort in sorrow — it is a call to be ready. The day is coming when graves will open, and those who rest in Christ will rise in glory. The wrinkles, the weakness, the scars of life will be gone, and we shall know our loved ones again in the image of Christ. Will you be ready to meet them in the resurrection morning?
