Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 23rd

📖 “Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.” — Luke 18:7, 8

In the final crisis, God’s people will face anguish so intense that it will test every fiber of faith. Yet unlike the unprepared, who will be crushed under the weight of unconfessed sin, the faithful will stand because their sins have already gone before them into judgment. Forgiven and blotted out, they can plead for deliverance with confidence, even in the darkest hour.

The story of Jacob reminds us that God does not abandon those who have stumbled but returned in repentance. When Satan rages, accusing and pressing God’s people, heaven sends comfort and protection. Though the furnace burns hot, the Refiner is near, shaping His children into pure gold. The same love that carried them in prosperity will sustain them in distress, proving that God’s eye never leaves His people.

Now is the time to prepare for that trial. A faith that endures delay, weariness, and hunger does not come overnight. Like Jacob, we must cling to God’s promises with persistence, refusing to let go until His blessing is assured. The Lord will not forsake His people; He will bring them forth purified, His image reflected in them, ready for His return.
