Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 8th

📖 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

Prophecy shows us that while the work of salvation nears its close, the world will be in turmoil — wars, famine, pestilence, and confusion everywhere. Yet in the midst of rising strife, God’s people will experience a special outpouring of His Spirit. The latter rain will empower the loud cry of the third angel, preparing the saints to stand firm when the seven last plagues are poured out. Even as nations rage, heaven holds them back until the work of warning is finished.

In vision, scenes of war and bloodshed gave way to a brief moment of peace — a pause before the storm. This respite revealed a time when God’s people pressed together in humility, putting away petty disputes and living with discretion and wisdom. But the calm was short-lived. Once more the earth was swept into chaos, with nations consumed by conflict, famine, and fear. Men’s hearts failed them for what was coming upon the earth.

Today, angels still restrain the winds of strife. But the storm is gathering, soon to burst in fury when God’s command is given. The little time of peace we now enjoy is not for ease or self-indulgence — it is a gift of mercy, a chance to press together, seek humility, and do the work heaven has assigned. Every moment must be used for reaching souls before it is forever too late. The storm is coming — are you using the calm to prepare?
