Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 5th
📖 “I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” (Ezekiel 34:26)
The prophets spoke of the early and latter rain — symbols of the Holy Spirit’s outpouring in power. The early rain was poured out at Pentecost when the apostles preached with Spirit-filled boldness and thousands were converted. But that was only the beginning. Near the close of earth’s history, another Pentecost is coming. The latter rain will fall with extraordinary measure to prepare God’s church for the return of Christ.
The final gospel work will not end with less power than it began. Servants of God will shine with holy consecration, proclaiming the message with fire across the earth. Miracles will be wrought, the sick will be healed, and the Spirit will convict hearts where argument cannot. At the same time, Satan will seek to deceive with lying wonders, even calling fire down from heaven. Every soul will be compelled to take their stand.
This will be the loud cry — the final warning before Jesus returns. Truth will shine in its clearest light, breaking every chain that binds God’s children. Family ties and worldly pressures will fall powerless before the Spirit’s conviction. Multitudes will choose Christ over compromise, taking their stand on the Lord’s side. The showers of blessing are coming — are you ready to receive the latter rain?
