Maranatha - The lord is coming: September 4th
📖 “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.” (Matthew 10:19) God’s Word assures us that when His people are brought before rulers and enemies for their faith, they will not stand alone. The promise of divine help is clear: the Holy Spirit Himself will give the words at the very moment they are needed. Our preparation is not in rehearsed speeches, but in the daily storing up of truth — feeding on the Scriptures, praying for strength, and fixing our hearts on Christ. When the hour of trial comes, heaven will bring back to memory the very words that will touch hearts.
But now is the time to prepare. Faith must be personal, not borrowed from parents, pastors, or friends. In the day of testing, you may stand without an earthly ally, surrounded by opposition and satanic forces pressing you to give way. Yet if your trust is in Christ, you will not waver. The same Lord who said, “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world,” will stand by your side. Those with a single eye to God’s glory will speak words that cannot be resisted, for Christ Himself will be their defense.
Young and old alike must be building strength in this time of peace. Now is when we learn to hear the Spirit’s movings, to walk with Christ daily, to grow into the stature of men and women of God. In the crisis, there will be no time to start preparing — the roots must already be deep. If Christ is your Alpha and Omega, your beginning and end, then His promise of divine help will be yours when the trial comes.
