Maranatha - The lord is coming: August 27th

📖 “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” (Daniel 8:14)

The subject of the sanctuary is one of the clearest beams of light God has given His people. It not only explains the disappointment of 1844 but also reveals the present work of Christ in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary. Far from being a forgotten doctrine, this truth anchors us to God’s leading throughout history and keeps us from drifting when the winds of doubt and deception blow.

By tracing prophecy through Daniel’s timeline — beginning in 457 B.C. with the decree to rebuild Jerusalem — we see perfect harmony in the fulfillment of events. The seventy weeks pointed to the coming of Christ and His rejection by the Jewish nation, and the 2300 days carried us to 1844, when Jesus began His closing ministry for us in heaven. These prophetic mile-markers are not guesses or human inventions; they are God’s appointed waymarks, immovable as the hills.

Though Satan and his hosts may rage against these pillars of truth, they stand firm. The call for us today is to keep searching the Scriptures, to become intelligent in the subject of the sanctuary, and to see in it both God’s past leading and His present work. The sanctuary isn’t just a doctrine — it’s a living testimony that Christ is cleansing His people and preparing a world for His soon return. Are you letting Him cleanse your heart as He cleanses the sanctuary above?
