Maranatha - The lord is coming: August 22nd
John 9:4 warns us: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” The sealing time is short — and it’s almost finished. Now, while the four angels are still holding back the winds of strife, is the moment to make our calling and election sure.
Ellen White saw the closing scenes of the third angel’s message: God’s people, filled with the latter rain, had given the final warning to the world. The inhabitants of the earth who rejected it were enraged. Then, an angel reported to Jesus that the sealing work was done. Christ declared, “It is done,” and the door of mercy closed forever. At that moment, every character was fixed for eternity — the holy remained holy, and the filthy remained filthy.
This solemn reality calls us to prepare now, not later. Many will be found in the time of trouble without a shelter because they delayed their preparation, expecting the “latter rain” to fit them for the crisis. But when Jesus leaves the sanctuary, there will be no mediator. The time to reflect Christ’s image fully is now. The time to rescue souls is now. Tomorrow may be too late.
